TAGLINE: A day in the life of an aspiring actress.
SYNOPSIS: An experimental documentary in which fly-on-the-wall footage of the lives of sixteen aspiring actresses from NYC is collaged to form a day in the life of one aspiring actress—each 'playing' a different aspect of the woman. Through this unconventional approach, filmmaker Cody Clarke has painted a visual poem; an ode to both the beauty and the pain of solitude.
CAST: Anna Fikhman, Ellie Aaron, Trine Boode-Petersen, Zelda Knapp, Jillene Anzanetta, Emelia Benoit-Lavelle, Marguerite Einhorn, Maya Azbel, Kristina Karyakina, Danielle Lenore, Sarah Teed, Tonianne Druckman, Dy Maximillian, Merrin Lazyan, Brooke Ivy-Prussin, Maya Gilbert, and Cody Clarke.
BUDGET: This film was made for less than $100. The only expense was MetroCard rides to the girls' apartments. The only equipment was a cheap tripod and a Canon T2i camera w/ kit lens—both of which Cody Clarke had previously purchased to make his first feature-length film, Shredder.
